Comprehensive Adult Autism Evaluation

This service is designed for adults seeking greater clarity and a deeper understanding of their developmental, behavioral and social-communication profile.

The evaluation may include a detailed diagnostic interview, developmental history, behavioral observation, psychometric assessment and review of lifelong patterns involving communication, relationships, sensory experiences, routines, masking, executive functioning and other relevant concerns.

The gold-standard ADOS autism assessment is available as an in-person component of the evaluation.

Out-of-State In-Person ADOS

For clients outside Ohio who would like to complete the gold-standard ADOS in person, Gabrie’le Eato is available to travel to your location for an additional travel fee.

Clients may also complete the in-person ADOS in Ohio, while other portions of the evaluation may be completed virtually depending on the individual's needs and location.

This individualized support is designed for children, adolescents and adults who need practical, psychology-informed guidance with neurodivergence, behavior, emotional regulation, executive functioning, communication, routines, transitions and everyday life.

For children and families, this service can be especially helpful when parents have already tried different providers, programs, strategies or support systems and still feel unsure about what will actually work in everyday life.

Gabrie’le Eato is often sought out for her practical, individualized approach to support. Rather than focusing only on what is going wrong, she works to understand the patterns, needs and factors underneath the behavior and helps individuals and families develop realistic strategies they can use at home and in daily routines.

Support may include practical methods for emotional regulation, communication, executive functioning, attention, organization, sensory needs, relationships, routines, problem-solving, independence and daily living.

Ongoing support can also help individuals and families identify additional resources, services or strategies that may be helpful as they work toward greater stability, independence, confidence and a meaningful, successful life.

Individualized support and guidance for parents and caregivers who want to better understand and support their child but may feel unsure about what to do, what a behavior means or which strategies may actually help.

Parent support helps families look beneath the behavior to better understand communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, routines, executive functioning, triggers, environmental demands and other factors that may be affecting the child.

Parents receive practical strategies they can use at home and in everyday situations to support communication, regulation, transitions, routines, independence and behavioral needs.

Guidance can also help parents better understand how their child's mind works so they can respond with strategies tailored to the individual child rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Parent support and guidance may be provided independently or alongside a child's individual support services.

Pediatric Assessment Services

This service is designed for families seeking autism, ADHD, mental health or broader neurodevelopmental evaluation for a child or adolescent when accessing an appropriate provider has been difficult.

Gabrie’le can provide the psychometric and assessment components of the evaluation and can contract with a psychiatrist of your choice to support the evaluation process.

Depending on the referral question, the assessment process may include developmental history, parent interview, behavioral observation, psychometric testing and review of educational, developmental or clinical information.

This allows families to create a more individualized evaluation pathway while working with a psychiatrist they select and trust.

Assessment planning is tailored according to the child's age, developmental presentation, behavioral or emotional concerns and the purpose of the evaluation.

Educational Support

IEP & 504 Support

Individualized support for parents and families navigating educational evaluations, accommodations, IEPs and Section 504 plans.

Support may include reviewing school documentation and testing results, discussing accommodations and existing plans, organizing family concerns and preparing questions for the educational team.

Gabrie’le can also attend IEP or 504 meetings with families, providing one-to-one support during the meeting and helping parents follow assessment information, communicate concerns and keep the student's individual needs at the center of the conversation.

Educational support may also consider how autism, ADHD, executive functioning, sensory needs, communication, behavior and other neurodevelopmental differences affect learning and participation in the school environment.
